We are often asked what happens to our horses after their racing days are over. On behalf of our owners, we work hard to rehome these horses and provide healthy and happy futures for them. Over the years, our staff has developed a comprehensive network of owners, trainers, farms and other friends in the industry that work together to ensure this goal is met.

From Racehorse to Sporthorse: The Thoroughbred Classic Horse Show (and our very own Lava Man)
shows just how well these athletes transition to new careers and experiences.

Muscavato

We love receiving updates on horses that we have placed in second homes. Here is Muscavato who retired early in 2017. His owner states that he was recently 2nd in the USEA West Coast Future Event Horse Championship for 3 year olds and also won High Point Thoroughbred award. Andrea, his owner says "he's the smartest, most noble young horse I've ever had". Continued good luck to Muscavato and Andrea! Keep the updates coming!

Remember Bad Read Sanchez?

Here he is enjoying life with his 'boy' Wyatt. This is what we aim for at Team O'Neill! Thanks to his new owners for sharing this touching photo.
